Would you like to try a custom oil with your massage?
I have been working for the last few weeks to come up with some special oils for my massage created to match the lifestyle of the person I am giving a massage to.
To be honest, I had forgotten how much work it takes to develop a scent for oil, and the process has gone slowly, but I have one oil completed (and the formula for it safely stored for future use).
There are many considerations when a custom scent is created, not the least of which is what is the beneficial effects of the oils to the massage itself. In trying to focus a custom oil there are constraints that I try to consider. For example, why would I use one essential oil over another? How does the oil enhance the massage in a positive way? What is the medicinal properties of the essential oil and how does that blend with the other oils in use.
Mixing essential oils is a balance between what it does, and how it’s combination of oils mix to make a pleasing scent.
The first of the oils that I have perfected was designed for active people, people that appreciate a good workout but need some tender care to their muscles so that they can rebound faster.
My newest creation (not named yet) is a combination of Pine Needle, Lavender and Eucalyptus oils, mixed in a carrier oil that is 100% Jojoba.
If you think you would like to try my new blend, just ask and see if it is something you like!
